| Bio Energy Plantations signs Jatropha development, off-take MOU with Van Der Horst |

Bio Energy Plantations Pte Ltd confirms that it has signed its first Jatropha off-take MOU with leading bio-diesel producer Van Der Horst Biodiesel Pte.
The agreement relates to supplying Jatropha oil - thus creating the world’s first Jatropha futures contract.
Van Der Horst also agrees to join forces in the development of a 6,000 hectare Jatropha plantation in India, enabling the rapid ramp up of large scale Jatropha production.
Bio Energy Plantations CEO Naren Raju is jubilant: "We are delighted to work with Van Der Horst on this project. They share our vision for the future of Jatropha oil - as the main source of alternate feedstock in biodiesel production. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship."
Terms and conditions of the development and off-take agreements are subject to final negotiations, completion of formal documentation and securing all relevant regulatory approvals. |
